Commercial Service · Toronto & GTA
Restaurants & Retail Electrical
Every day you're closed costs you. We work around your service hours, your menu launches, and your seasonal pushes — fast quotes, ESA-licensed crews, and the kind of contractor that actually shows up. Toronto, Etobicoke, and across the GTA.
Why It's Different
Every closed day is lost revenue
Restaurants and retail can't run on a homeowner's schedule
A homeowner can lose a kitchen for a week. A restaurant can't lose its kitchen for a single dinner service. We schedule heavy work for closed days, after hours, or off-peak when needed — and we coordinate with your GC, kitchen designer, and equipment supplier so things don't stall waiting for an electrician. We treat your operating hours like a constraint, not an inconvenience.
What We Do
Three project types we handle
From a brand-new build-out to a single fixture swap on a Tuesday morning, we run the full range of restaurant and retail electrical work.
New Build-Outs
Full electrical for new restaurants, retail stores, salons, gyms, and cafés. Permits, rough-in, kitchen and POS power, lighting design, ESA inspection — we work alongside your GC from drawings to opening day.
- Kitchen, hood & equipment circuits
- POS, signage & display lighting
- Permits & ESA inspection
Renovations & Upgrades
Refreshes, expansions, second locations, equipment swaps, and lighting redesigns. We schedule heavy work for closed days and quiet work during service so you don't lose covers.
- Existing location refreshes
- Equipment additions & swaps
- Lighting & ambiance upgrades
Emergency Service
Walk-in fridge tripped? Dining room dark? Patio lights down before service? We respond fast — same-day during business hours and after-hours when you need us. The goal is to keep your doors open.
- Same-day emergency response
- After-hours availability
- Equipment-down troubleshooting

Scheduling
We work when you're closed
Heavy work outside service hours, when it makes sense
For most projects, we schedule the disruptive work — drilling, demolition, panel changes, hood circuit installs — for closed days, mornings before service, or overnight. Quieter work like fixture installs and terminations happen during the day. We talk through scheduling at the quote stage so you know exactly when we'll be on site and when service won't be affected. After-hours rates apply for overnight or weekend work, but for most jobs the schedule arrangement is built into the standard quote.

FAQ
Restaurant & retail questions, answered
How fast can you respond to an emergency?
Same-day during business hours for most equipment-down or power-loss issues. After hours and overnight response is available for restaurant clients on contract — we know that "we'll come Monday" doesn't work when the walk-in is warming up Saturday at 9 PM.
Do you work directly with our GC or designer?
Yes — most build-outs are GC-managed and we work directly with the project manager. We also work from kitchen designer drawings, equipment supplier specs, and brand-standards documents for franchise builds.
Will you work overnight or on closed days?
For most projects, yes. We schedule heavy work outside service hours when it makes business sense — closed days, early mornings, or overnight. After-hours rates apply for overnight and weekend work, but the scheduling itself is part of how we quote restaurant and retail jobs.
Do you handle ESA permits and inspections?
Yes, every commercial job. We pull the ESA permit, schedule rough-in and final inspections, and provide the Certificate of Acceptance. For health-and-safety inspections (Toronto Public Health, fire marshal), we coordinate but those are typically handled by the GC or owner.
Can you work with our landlord and base building?
Yes. Most commercial leases require landlord approval for electrical work — we provide scope documentation, COI, and ESA permit info upfront so the landlord package is easy. We also coordinate with base building electrical (service entry, subpanel taps, riser access) when needed.
Do you work with chains or only independents?
Both. We work with independents on one-off builds, and with chains on multi-location rollouts where consistency, brand standards, and predictable scheduling matter. Multi-location clients get a dedicated project lead across builds.
What does it cost?
Build-outs range widely based on size, equipment count, and location condition — typically $25K–$150K+ for a full restaurant electrical scope, less for retail. Renovations and upgrades depend on scope. Emergency call-outs are billed at our standard hourly rate plus call-out fee. Every project gets a fixed-price quote after a free site visit.
Opening, renovating, or just need it fixed today?
Free quotes, ESA-licensed work, scheduling that respects your hours. Toronto, Etobicoke, and the GTA.
